As a unique yoga hotel, the MIRAMONTE harmoniously combines contemporary design with the beauty and splendour of the surrounding nature.
With love and a feeling for design and aesthetics, the operators Evelyn and her husband Ike, an architect by profession, have created a special place in Gastein with the MIRAMONTE. The MIRAMONTE is an experiment in design and architecture, because the hotel does not at all correspond to the conventional style one is accustomed to from ordinary mountain hotels. During the renovation, elements of a bed and breakfast were skilfully merged with those of a design hotel from a typical 70s building.
At the foot of the Graukogel with a fabulous view over the Gastein valley, it’s a great place to stay. The casual bar with a great selection of magazines, the in-house spa with sauna and the yoga make the hotel an unpretentious meeting place. Relaxing by the fireplace or watching a film in the open-air cinema directly in front of the hotel is particularly enjoyable.
For those looking for relaxation, the MIRAMONTE offers a small wellness area that revitalises body and soul. The hotel’s spa area has a variety of treatments such as massages, cosmetic treatments, thermal spring, sauna and relaxation room.
Yoga at MIRAMONTE
Yoga is an essential part of life at MIRAMONTE. In addition to the yoga offered on site, you can also take advantage of the yoga classes at the nearby sister hotel “Haus Hirt”. Throughout the year, you will meet guest teachers from a wide range of yoga disciplines. The classes take place twice a day, in the morning and in the evening, and are suitable for all levels.
On nice days, yoga takes place by the waterfall, in the pavilion or on the terrace. But the hotel’s own yoga room with wooden floor and a far-reaching view of the mountains is also a wonderful place for relaxed yoga sessions.
The hotel also offers special retreats lasting several days.
Catering
Look forward to a varied breakfast buffet with all kinds of healthy delicacies: green meadow juice, warm porridge, regional mountain cheese, vegan spreads, homemade jam, farmhouse bread and a super selection of different teas.
If the weather permits, you can also have breakfast on the terrace. In the evening, there is a 4-course menu, also vegetarian or vegan on request. The ambience in the restaurant is particularly beautiful with candlelight and a far-reaching view of the Gastein valley.

Yoga teachers and their groups are always welcome guests. The yoga room in the Hotel MIRAMONTE is about 40 sqm and offers space for 10 participants. Rental mats and cloths for Aerial Yoga are available. 8 participants can take part in Aerial Yoga. You can also get an impression directly on the hotel’s website.
