Glögglhof

Hotel description

Glögglhof is a 200-year-old castle in the heart of Styria, Austria, at the foot of the Eisenerz Alps. The historic building is surrounded by an equally impressive one-hectare park full of history.

This natural paradise is available exclusively to you and your delegates. Words can hardly describe the experience in the park: 400-year-old trees that want to be hugged, meadows that invite you to walk barefoot, and a forest that is a refuge for yoga and an oasis for forest bathing. The gentle ripple of the fountain supports your meditation and the pond provides the perfect setting for singing bowl rituals.

The possibilities are endless – which is why owner Natascha Hochsteiner plans each retreat individually with you. With numerous training courses and seminars in therapeutic fasting and personal development, she knows the needs of these groups inside out and will help you plan the best possible retreat.

The Glögglhof has hosted a wide range of seminars and retreats on personal development, yoga, shiatsu, forest bathing, kinesiology, meditation and much more.

There are 17 stylish hotel rooms with en-suite bathrooms, each individually designed – either in the main building or in the Garden Lodge (including one accessible room).

If required, a further 17 rooms are available at the nearby sister hotel with shuttle service (extra charge).

Yoga at Glögglhof

The 120 m² seminar room is equipped with modern air-conditioning and comfortable flooring. It can comfortably seat 30 people. There are two terraces directly in front of the seminar room – one facing east, the other west.

Due to the variety of retreats and seminars we do not provide yoga mats or cushions. Bring what you need for your retreat.

Catering

You can look forward to first class full catering, tailored to the programme of your retreat. Regional and seasonal cuisine is served, whether light, vegetarian or with meat, just as you and your group wish.
